Wedding at Private Farm + Lakeside Inn  /  Buchanan + Lakeside, Michigan
 
The setting for this event could not have been more enchanting. Friends of the family invited my Chicago clients, Katherine and Jonah to use their enchanting Michigan farm and land for their ceremony. There was a real sense of “home” with this wedding. Everything felt very intimate and relevant.
 
School buses transported guests from the ceremony to the reception at an historic inn in a lovely small town along Lake Michigan. Gorgeous zinnia flowers were sourced from a small farm 30 miles from the venue. Arranging the blooms in mason jars allowed their texture and simplicity to shine and contribute to the rustic charm of the celebration.
