EVENT 3

Wedding at Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado

My Boston clients, Kate and Adam, have an appreciation for outdoor adventures and reached out because they were attracted to my naturalist approach. Listening to their story and hopes for an elegantly casual wedding weekend allowed me to find the most fitting talent to bring their vision to life.

Most grooms don’t enjoy discussing flowers – they leave that to their fiancĂ© and I. But Adam had a very strong perspective on what he didn’t want the celebration to look like – over the top, “petaly”, typical. I knew right away that Honey of a Thousand Flowers would be the ideal creative partner. Sarah couldn’t have done a better job incorporating greenery and understated, yet gorgeous, flowers. It was thrilling to see Adam as he and Kate experienced their completed reception space – his smile glowed.

As with most of my destination clients, I worked with Kate and Adam exclusively over the phone over several months. It wasn’t until meeting them in person on their wedding day that I fully realized what a fire these two have for each other. What stands out from the beautiful photos that the fabulous Twin Lens captured of these two is that their warmth and closeness made it seem like they were the only two folks on the planet that day.
